About Murshidabad Ursa Rural Development Society
Murshidabad Ursa Rural Development Society (MURDS) is a community based development organization to uplift the socio economic condition of tribal & marginalized community by undertaking need based activities. It is a history of more than 7 years since it had started activities for the humanitarian assistance in for an all round development of the people, mainly with the women empowerment along with their self respect and primary health. We have successfully established a good relationship with rural mass to interact, share information and mobilize available resources for the poor and marginalized people in our operational are. So far our activities and experience are concerned during these past years, our activities are essentially comprised of building up social awareness on different issues affecting the human life , covering the community health with appropriate social action like RCH programme , Cottage Industry Development programme, livelihood assistance by SHG formation to the disadvantaged people in the field of Cottage Industry and in small scale rural artisan industries, aimed at empowerment of the poor and marginalized, providing support to the needy children for their proper education through Balwadi-centers special guidance for their nature building . Continuous efforts have been made towards the utilization of local resources including the capacity building and development of human resources.
